Here’s a detailed guide to linking, changing, or unlinking your email address. Before making any changes, please note that you must complete your Google Two-Factor authentication on your account.
Link Your Email Address
Linking an email address to your account is strongly recommended. This not only enhances your account security but also unlocks additional features such as withdrawals, system email notifications, API management, and more.
Step 1: Navigate to your Security page by tapping on the Profile icon in the top left corner and then go to Security → Email.
Step 2: Complete the security verification.
Step 3: Add your email and tap on Receive Verification Code to verify your email address. Enter the 6-digit Email Verification code to complete the verification.

Change Your Email Address
Step 1: Navigate to your Security page by tapping on the Profile icon in the top left corner and then go to Security → Email → Change My Registered Email.
Step 2: The message below will pop up. Read the information carefully and click on OK if you are ready to proceed to the next step.
For your account security, withdrawals and P2P transactions will be disabled for 24 hours after changing your email. Please also note that it will not be possible to change or unlink your email for the next seven (7) days once the change is complete.
Step 3: Enter your new email address and tap Get Code to complete the necessary verification steps. To ensure the safety of your account, a verification code will be sent to both your email addresses and your phone number, if you have linked your mobile to your Bybit account.
For smooth processing, please enter each code in the correct order and ensure they are still valid before you tap OK.

Please note that if you have entered the code wrongly, the old code will become invalid. You will have to re-enter your email and request new SMS and Google Authenticator codes.

If you have permanently lost your email address, phone number, or Google Authentication, please click on Having problems with verification? and select the security option applicable to your situation. Once your request is approved, our Customer Support team will assist you in resetting your 2FA authentication.
Step 4: To register the change of your email address, your account will automatically be disconnected from both the app and the website. Simply log into your account again by entering your new email address and your password.

Unlink Your Email Address
Linking an email address to your account is strongly recommended as it will increase your account security. It is required for actions like withdrawing funds or managing your security settings and APIs. Therefore, please note that should you decide to unlink your email, you may face limitations for future withdrawals and expose your account to a higher risk of unauthorized access.
Step 1: Navigate to your Security page by tapping on the Profile icon in the top left corner and then go to Security → Email → Unlink my Registered Email.
For the safety of your account, please complete both SMS verification and Google Authentication before you unlink your email address.
Step 2: The message below will pop up. Read the information carefully and tap OK if you are ready to proceed to the next step.
