Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make manual repayments in your Unified Trading Account on Bybit.
Step 1: Navigate to the Trade → Margin → Borrowings page and tap on Repay.
- To repay a single borrowed coin, tap on the Repay button beside the column of the respective coin.
- To repay all borrowed coins, tap on Repay at the top of the Unified Trading page.
Note: The Repay button will not appear if you have no borrowed amount.
Alternatively, you can go to the Unified Trading Account asset page → Borrows and tap on the Repayment button to repay all coins.
If you want to repay a single borrowed coin, go to the respective coin from the Unified Trading Account asset page and tap on Repayment.
Step 2: A Repayment Confirmation window will pop up. Check your repayment details and then tap on Confirm. Please be aware that due to market fluctuations, there may be slight variations in the actual repayment amount.
After confirming, the system will auto-convert the repayment coin into your borrowed coin for repayment. Bybit will charge a 0.1% repayment handling fee on the total repayment amount.
Notes:
— The borrowed amount shown includes borrowings from Spot Margin trading, Perpetual, Futures, and USDC Options trading. For more information on how borrowings can occur, please visit here.
— In cases where you have insufficient funds to cover the borrowed amount, you may consider checking for any active Spot or Spot Margin orders that can be canceled to release the frozen assets.
— Partial repayment is not currently supported via this method. For partial repayment, you can manually transfer assets in the same coin as your borrowed coin into your Unified Trading Account or manually sell other margin assets into the borrowed coin. The system will auto-deduct the borrowed amount from the positive wallet balance for repayment.
— If multiple repayment coins are selected, the system will auto-convert the repayment coins into the borrowed coin according to the liquidity order stated in the Margin Specifications.
Your repayment was successful! You can go to Transaction Log or Exchange History for repayment details.
View Your Transaction Log/Exchange History
In your Transaction Log, you can find details about Sold for Repayment and Bought for Repayment transaction types for each repayment. For example, you are using BTC to repay your USDT borrowed amount. In this case, you have sold BTC (repayment coin) and bought USDT (borrowed coin) for repayment.
You can also access the conversion record in the Exchange History.
