Bybit Card allows you to make secure payments with both fiat and crypto. If the existing fiat is not enough to complete the transaction, then the crypto of your choice will be converted to fiat to cover the remaining balance. If both fiat and crypto are insufficient, the transaction will be declined. Please note that there is a minimum crypto conversion of 1 EUR/AUD or 5,000 ARS.
Once your Bybit Card transactions have been authorized, the transaction amount in your Funding Account will be frozen and only deducted once the merchant completes the transaction. Please note that it will take up to 30 days. In the event of reversed authorization, you don't need to worry — the frozen fiat amount will be released back into your Funding Account as an available balance.

Scenario 1
Sufficient fiat for payment: The amount that the user needs to pay for the product is 500 EUR. 500 EUR will be deducted from the user's Funding account.
Scenario 2
Insufficient fiat, but sufficient crypto for payment: The product costs 1,030 EUR. All 1,000 EUR in the Funding account will be used and the remaining 30 EUR will be paid with USDT in the Funding account. The conversion rate of the USDT to EUR is based on the One-Click Sell Rate plus a Bybit Card crypto conversion fee.
Scenario 3
Foreign exchange transaction: The product costs 1,260 USD. Since it is a foreign exchange transaction, the funds will be deducted according to the foreign exchange rate of Mastercard plus a Bybit Card foreign exchange fee.
Assuming the exchange rate of 1.05 USD/EUR at the time of purchase, 1,260 USD is equivalent to 1,200 (1,260/1.05) EUR. All 1,000 EUR in the Funding Account will be deducted and the foreign exchange fee will be charged. The remaining 200 EUR will be paid in USDT in the user’s Funding Account based on the One-Click Sell Rate plus a Bybit Card crypto conversion fee.
Scenario 4
Available fiat currency is different from the Bybit Card base currency. The product costs 20 EUR. While the user has a 50 USD fiat balance in his Funding Account, it cannot be used for the card transaction as the base currency is in EUR. The transaction amount of 20 EUR will be paid by USDT in the Funding Account since there is insufficient EUR in the Funding Account. The conversion rate of the USDT to EUR is based on the One-Click Sell Rate plus a Bybit Card crypto conversion fee.
Scenario 5
The selected payment crypto asset is different from the available balance: The transaction will be declined since the user has selected USDT as the payment crypto while he only has 1,000 XRP available in his Funding Account. The user can change his Payment Crypto Asset to XRP for the transaction. Please note that currently, users can only select one crypto asset for payment.
