What is an Islamic Subaccount?
The Islamic Subaccount is a specialized account type offered by Bybit that complies with Shariah law. It is designed for users who wish to engage in interest-free trading, focusing on Shariah-compliant products certified by Shariah advisors. Users with an Islamic Subaccount can deposit and withdraw all tokens but can only trade Halal tokens.
Who can apply for an Islamic Subaccount?
Islamic Subaccounts are available to all Bybit global users (bybit.com), except those from countries in our service restriction list. For details, please refer to our Service Restricted Countries page.
Note: Users must complete Identity Verification Lv. 1 before they can open a subaccount.
What products and services are supported?
Islamic Subaccounts support the following products and services:

How do I Create an Islamic Subaccount?
The process is the same as creating a Standard Subaccount, but select an Islamic Subaccount during setup. For more details, please refer to How to Get Started With a Standard Subaccount.
What is the difference between a Standard Subaccount and an Islamic Subaccount?
The key difference is that Islamic Subaccounts allow trading only in Shariah-compliant tokens and are interest-free. Standard Subaccounts do not have these restrictions.
Are trading fees different for Islamic Subaccount?
Trading fees for Islamic Subaccounts are the same as the fees for your Main Account. Any trading fee discounts applied to the Main Account will be inherited by the Islamic subaccount. The trading volume from your Islamic Subaccount will contribute to your VIP criteria.
How many Islamic Subaccounts can I have?
Each Main Account can create one Islamic Subaccount, in addition to the 20 Standard Subaccount limit.
Can I use the App or Web for Islamic Subaccount?
Yes, Islamic Subaccounts are accessible through both the app and the web.
Can I deposit/withdraw directly from the Islamic Subaccount?
Currently, deposits and withdrawals can only be made via your Main Account. You can transfer funds from your Main Account to your Islamic Subaccount.
Are there any restrictions on asset transfer?
You can transfer any asset to the Islamic Subaccount, but trading is limited to selected tokens. Therefore, there is no utility in transferring non supported assets for trading purposes.
Can I use the Islamic Subaccount to participate in competitions?
Currently, Islamic Subaccounts are not supported for competition participation.
Can I redeem rewards from the Islamic Subaccount?
No, rewards can only be redeemed from the Main Account.
Can I delete my Islamic Subaccount?
Yes, you can delete your Islamic Subaccount from the Subaccount Settings on your Main Account. You can create a new Islamic Subaccount again if needed.
